Hallo daar!
Hello! I am Karla Kruger, a junior graphic designer based in Krugersdorp South Africa.
I have recently finished my degree at Vega Johannesburg and will officially graduate in 2025.
I am emotional, but it is part of being human and most certainly part of my design process. I can get very excited but also very frustrated, but both are essential. I can fall in love with the whole process or sometimes I just need a good cry to clear my head.
My faith is an important part of my life and I acknowledge that my values and beliefs stem from it.

About Head over Feels
The name Head Over Feels was inspired by the hit ABBA song Head Over Heels. The name represents the emotions that go with designing, not to suppress or ignore them but to embrace them as part of the process, but in the end, rational thinking will work with those feelings and not against them to solve the problem at hand.
The coffee stain is meant to represent the messiness of the hustle in daily life, and just like the coffee spill is part of work the messy emotions form part of the process of my designs. Embrace all the emotions, good and bad alike.
My Core Values
I believe everything you do, you should do it well and to the best of your abilities. I design with passion and love, I want my emotions to be part of the process because I think empathy is a core component to any good design.
